Hannah Buckley

Originally from Neath, South Wales, I studied theology as an undergraduate at Regent's Park College, Oxford before completing a master's degree in Islamic Theology at SOAS, University of London. After many years as a management consultant and project manager, I felt the pull to step back into theology, completing a master's in theology at Cardiff Baptist College alongside ministerial formation, and ministering in a Baptist Church in Cardiff. For the last two years I've been working on my PhD at Cardiff University, while also teaching at St Padarn's and Cardiff Baptist College. I'm now an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and I'm particularly interested in creative teaching practices that engage the rich diversity of learning styles. I live near Bridgend with my husband Ben and I'm an avid outdoor swimmer, spending as much time as I can at the beach.
