St Padarn’s is responsible for the training and equipping of ministers throughout the Church in Wales, whether they are training to be Licensed Lay Ministers, Deacons or Priests. We oversee their initial training (Formation for Licensed Ministry), their time as NLMs (Newly Licensed Ministers) and work with the dioceses to implement Ministerial Development. As part of that we also organise pre-retirement training, St Padarn’s therfore plays an essential part in an individuals life from the moment they are selected for Licensing/Ordination within the Church in Wales, right through to retirement.
