29th Regional Southwest and Wales Postgraduate Religion and Theology Conference 2024

The annual Regional Southwest and Wales Postgraduate Religion and Theology Conference will be taking place this year on Thursday, 13th June 2024 in Cardiff, hosted by St Padarn’s Institute. This long-running postgraduate conference, in its 29th year, is open to participation from all students at Universities and Theological Colleges in Wales and the Southwest of England (Bristol, Exeter, Cardiff, Bangor, Gloucester, Southampton etc) and beyond. The conference aims to provide a welcoming and friendly venue for postgraduates to showcase their work.
We invite papers on any topic: theology, religion, and related disciplines, and from any point of view. Proposed papers should be no longer than 20 minutes in length. Each paper that is accepted will be placed in a panel with other papers covering similar themes. All panels will have a chair who will ensure the smooth running of the papers and manage the Q&A period.
St Padarn’s Institute will offer accommodation to participants FREE of charge for the evenings of Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th June. As accommodation is limited, rooms will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on the day and there will be a wine reception in the evening.
