St Padarn’s Tutor in St Davids’ Diocese
Grade E £32,324 – £36,572
Appointment will be made at a point within this grade dependent on experience and skills
This is a real opportunity to make a significant contribution to the formation of the next generation of ministers in the Church in Wales,
particularly for St Davids Diocese. As tutor you will be have a key role in the formation and training of candidates from St Davids diocese
for Licensed Ministry – lay and ordained – and the running of Theology for Life within the diocese. Working as part of the St Padarn’s team,
you will arrange and oversee placements, formational cells, learning groups, provide pastoral support, and be at the heart of promoting Theology
for Life.You will also teach in an area of expertise for the whole of St Padarn’s, have an area of specific responsibility across the province, and be
supporting in contributing the life of the Church through research, writing and speaking.
The successful candidate should have:
A developed understanding of the nature of Christian formation.
Experience and aptitude in organising and facilitating adult learning.
Significant ministerial experience as a priest.
The ability to inspire; enthuse and be trusted by others, including candidates and senior staff within the Church in Wales.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday 14th November in Cardiff.
